All Word Games ->How Boggle Solver works
Enter the letters from your Boggle board, choose the grid size, and solve to find Boggle words that can be made by moving through adjacent cells.
The solver walks the board in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal directions, never reusing the same cell within a word. It uses dictionary prefixes to prune impossible paths quickly.
Results are scored with standard Boggle-style word values and grouped by length so you can scan short words, long words, and high-scoring Boggle words quickly.
FAQ
What is Boggle?
Boggle is a word game where players find words in a grid of letters. Standard Boggle uses a 4x4 board, while larger variants use 5x5 or 6x6 grids.
What counts as a valid Boggle word?
A valid Boggle word uses adjacent cells, including diagonal neighbors, and does not reuse the same cell within one word. This solver starts at three letters by default, with a four-letter default for larger boards.
Can I solve 3x3, 5x5, and 6x6 boards?
Yes. Use the grid selector to switch between 3x3, 4x4 Boggle, 5x5 Big Boggle, and 6x6 Super Big Boggle boards before entering letters.
How does Qu work in Boggle?
Type Q or Qu in a cell and the solver treats that cube as Qu. It counts as two letters in the word, but it uses one board cell.
How are Boggle words scored?
The solver uses standard scoring: 3- and 4-letter words score 1 point, 5-letter words score 2, 6-letter words score 3, 7-letter words score 5, and words of 8 or more letters score 11.
Will every Boggle word be accepted in my game?
Not always. Different apps, editions, and house rules use different dictionaries. Treat the results as strong Boggle word candidates and verify unusual words against your game's word list.
